December is a very month at the Orange Lodge!
This last week include a donation to Orange H S, a Hoop Shoot, a party and collecting gifts.
The Orange Elks lodge donated to the Orange HS Baseball programs to help them update equipment, gear, and uniforms. Elk’s member Jerry Pierce and varsity baseball coach George Chance.
Every December, the Orange Elks Lodge holds Hoop Shoot Competition. Hoop Chairmen Tim Reissmueller said the Hoop Shoot is a free throw contest where each participant is scored on how many baskets are made out of twenty-five shots. It is broken down into six groups boys and girls 8 – 9, 10 -11 and 12 – 13. The first, second and third place winners will advance to the Orange Coast District competition. In May, the winners will receive their trophy at our Youth Appreciation Night.

The Orange Elks Kids Christmas Party was a big success. A lunch was served, crafts were on hand, games were played, cookies decorated, and a gift for each of child.
The Eli Home Christmas Toy Drive is for children 2 – 12 to help them have a better Holiday. The Eli Home is a shelter for abused children and their moms.
The gifts will be delivered to the Eli Home.
