Christmas in July 13

The Orange Elks Lodge # 1475 visits the Long Beach Veterans Hospital several times a year. However in July, the visit is called “Christmas in July”. This year, the lodges from  Newport Harbor, Garden Grove joined the Orange to hold a very special event.
This is a special program our lodge does to show our appreciation to the veterans for their part in keeping our country safe. “As long as there is a Vet, the Elks will never forget” Thank you for your service. God Bless you and God Bless America"
Twenty seven members from Orange helped entertain 31 veterans.

The lodges provided punch, chips, cookies, toiletry gifts, t-shirts, socks blankets, magazines and books. The veterans played bingo for over $100 in prize money. When the game was over any person that didn’t win was given money.
