“As long as there is a Vet, the Elks will never forget” Thank you for your service. God Bless you and God Bless America"

The lodges of the Orange Coast District visit our Veterans for Christmas in July. The Orange, Santa Ana and La Habra lodges went to the VA Hospital in Long Beach. Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Westminster, Fullerton and Mission Viejo were at the Villages at Cabrillo House.

This is a special program our lodges do to show our appreciation to the veterans for their part in keeping our country safe.

The Orange Lodge gave each veteran a “Christmas Present".  The gift included socks, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, razors, deodorant, lotion, raisins and a card that said, "Thank you for you service. So long as there are Veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them”.

The lodges furnished coffee, punch and cookies and donated money for the bingo games that were played.

The Veterans are Richard Arnold ( in the hat), Jeff Lamphere ( in the cap).
The Elks in the back row are (L_R) Frank Torres, Santa Ana Elks,  Barbara Berger, Orange Elks Von Balsey, La Habra Elks and Stephanie Fitzpatrick, Orange.
Thanks Barbara Berger for the pictures!
