“As long as there is a Veteran, the Orange Elks will never forget”. Several times a year the Orange Elks and other lodges in the Orange Coast District go play Bingo with the Veterans at the Long Beach Veterans Hospital. Recently, Orange teamed up with La Habra to do just that. There were twenty three veterans and seventeen Orange Elks and family members. Each veteran receive a gift bag consisting of a tooth brush, tooth paste, nail clippers, playing cards, a flashlight, shampoo and a Chap stick. Refreshments were served and each veteran was a winner. Our Veterans are people who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America, for an amount up to and including their life. The Orange Elks “THANK YOU” for your service!
