The Orange Lodge supports the Ronald McDonald House
Orange Elks Lodge member Peggy Basarab has a special place in her heart for the Ronald McDonald House. .....Last year, the Orange County Ronald McDonald House helped over 2,500 families whose children were receiving life saving treatment at hospitals throughout Orange County here in California. Peggy has been collecting pull tabs on aluminum cans for many years. At one point, she collected about one million of them and donated them to the House. Recently, she donated 50 pounds of them from our Elks here at the Orange Lodge. In the month of February, the Ronald McDonald House had a campaign going called, Hearts for the House. People could purchase a Heart for the House for a $1 donation. Peggy was able to raise $400 from our Orange Elks Lodge for the cause!
