What is GRIP? GRIP (Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership) is a program for kids between 8 and 12 years old that are pre-selected to participate in the program. The kids are middle school kids that are at-risk of gang involvement and drug use during a time when they have very little adult supervision. The kids that attended the soccer camp had to earn their way to the camp by their actions and achievements. Once in the program, the kids must make and set goals and must show improvement to stay in the program. This soccer camp helps them to that!
The Orange Elks Drug Awareness Programs volunteers prepared, cooked, and served two kinds of street tacos, quesadillas, rice & beans and drinks.

It is great to get to help the kids in our community and the kids loved the tacos.
A great time was had by everyone, and it was a great day to be an Orange Elk!
