We are finally back to work!!! It was nice to get a dose of Elkdom! It started with our applying for and receiving a $2500 ENF Gratitude Grant. We turned around and gave the money to Waste Not OC (WNOC) to help feed at-risk families locally. Then, in partnership with OUSD and WNOC, we supplied the volunteers to distribute meals to families in the morning at Fairhaven Elementary School. They brought 600+ meals, we handed out 350+ of them and the rest went to the Anaheim YMCA. I invited Waste Not OC to call us with any future volunteer needs. And a big Thank You to everyone that was able to come and get their Elkdom On.
