Assembling an Easter Baskets is always fun and thirty seven Orange Elks, their family and friends assembled seventy-two Easter Baskets for the children who are going to be in CHOC (Children’s Hospital of Orange County) during Easter. This is the fourth year we are working with CHOC in conjunction with the Wildcard Foundation. The lodge raised the money to obtain items and then assembled the baskets.

The “Wildcrd Army” was started by Rich and Stephanie Hunter to honor and remember their son Nixon.  They are  members of the lodge and formed the Wildcard Army. The Wildcard Army has been assisting families in need and the Orange Elks have helped them do that! Here is the web site, http://www.wildcardarmy.org/.

Stephanie and Rich Hunter, Steve Lefferdink and John Smith

When the Elks find out about events like these, they get involved, and the saying “Elks Care and Elks Share” makes you proud that you are an Orange Elk!
