The Orange Elks Lodge has had Elk around since 1923. About ten years ago, the lodge helped purchase the first police dog for the Orange Police Departments K-9 Unit. Since then we have raised 0ver $40,000 and helped OPD acquire six K-9’s. Several years ago, the lodge started a program to help fund the veterinary bills when the dogs retire. Pictured are Amy Carr, our veterinary chairmen and Mike Duff, our police dog chairmen along with Danto the newest K-9. The officer are L – R Mike Osborn, Damon Allen, and Lt. Dan Adams.
