This year’s Chili Cook Off was again a big success! The three categories were Hot Chili, Mild Chili and Ebola Che-lay . However, the Ebola Che-lay was put into quarantine!
The Orange Elks Campers are called the “The Orange Roamin Elks” and were formed in 1984 by a group who camping once a month and raise money for the Elks’charities.
Over the years they have donated over $9,000 to various charities. This year the group entertained over 160 people, had eight mild and eight hot chilies for judging. When the results were in, they raised $1,646 to donate.

I really enjoyed competing. Â Appreciate the friendly camaraderie between the other competitors. Â I am glad that everyone enjoyed my chili enough to vote it 2nd place.
