COME VISIT THE ORANGE ELKS LODGE # 1475
Every Labor Day weekend in the city of Orange’s quaint plaza district, the three-day International Street Fair in Orange hosts more than a half million visitors who eat, drink and walk around being very merry. Each street running off the circular plaza is sectioned into ethnic enclaves such as English Street, Mexican Street, Italian Street, Greek Street, Irish Street, Polynesian Street, Swiss Street and more. Come hungry for flavors and delicacies such as fish and chips, gyros, bratwurst, egg rolls, sushi, fried shrimp, stuffed grape leaves, falafel and baklava.
Besides buying bountiful native foods from around the world, each street has its own costumes, music, entertainment and dancing. There's also a main stage showcasing blues, pop, country western and R&B bands. Did I mention running to old friends?
This year’s Street Fair runs on Friday August 30th, Saturday August 31st and Sunday September 1st.
Please stop by English Street, and enjoy Fish & Chips prepared by the Orange Elks. See you there!
