Emblem President’s Message – August 2016
Orange Elks Lodge #1475 and Orange Emblem Club #418 benefitted by the membership of Maryann Griffin’s family for many years. Her parents, Ham and Val Romoser were very active as were her brothers and sisters while enjoying dances, parties, fashion shows and the like, when brother Jimmy played the piano. Maryann’s family requested an Emblem Memorial Service because they knew that Emblem was a large part of Maryann’s life. She was chairman of the Holiday Boutique and Community Service for close to 20 years. We extend sincere thanks to Orange Elks Lodge #1475 for the use of their beautiful facilities on this very special occasion.
Club Officers, family, and friends gathered to celebrate the life of Maryann Griffin on Saturday; July 9, 2016 at the Orange Elks Lodge #1475. There were approximately 50 in attendance sharing wonderful stories of Maryann’s life devoted to family and community.
