The Orange Elks Lodge #1475 has a very successful and growing scouting program, with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. During the year, our Scouting Units participate in many activities including campouts, fund raisers, and community service as well as their weekly meetings working on merit achievements and fun activities.

On 9/11/13, our Boy Scouts helped in the Patriots Day flag ceremony sponsored by local Veterans organizations at the famous and historic Circle of Orange. Â The Veterans hold a special flag lowering ceremony every Wednesday at 6:00pm.

This day was special because it was 9/11. The veterans MC proclaimed this as the largest gathering to date, and gave a gracious thanks for the participating Boy Scout Troop 1475. Thanks to John Schroeder for help on the article and the pictures.
