At the yearly tournament, the rules were changed relative to selecting the pocket the eight ball could be shoot into. Under normal conditions, the eight ball must be shot into the same pocket as the players last object ball.
At the yearly tournament, a player could shoot the 8 ball into ANY pocket. Every person I spoke to while at the yearly tournament liked the rule change.
During the time that I have been shooting pool in the club and talking to other players, I have found no one else who likes the rule that the 8 ball MUST follow the same pocket as the LAST object ball.
How can we, at least, have a vote to determine the rules that will apply when a member participates in a Lodge Tournament...?
