The results are in from last weeks ritual contest with all 10 of the Orange Coast District teams participating. Orange did fantastic!!! Below are the results:
Exalted Ruler Mark Walker - 3rd Place
Esteemed Leading Knight Rick Hatch - 2nd Place
Esteemed Loyal Knight Jerry Colunga - 2nd Place
Esteem Lecturing Knight Phil Moore - 3rd Place
Esquire Mary Higdon - 3rd Place
Chaplin Eli Carrillo - 3rd Place
Inner Guard David Krebs - didn't place, but came SO CLOSE!
It was the first competition for Phil, Mary, Eli and David - and they did FABULOUS!!! On the Friday night before the competition, David dropped a 5 gallon container on his foot and didn't go to the doctor until after the competition. At the ER on Saturday night, David learned that he had 2 broken toes. It is amazing that he competed in the excoriating pain he was in.
The Orange Team came in 3rd over all. We are so proud of each and every one of them. Leading Knight Rick Hatch brought home the 11 O'clock Toast trophy for the 3rd Year in a row and will be performing the Toast in July at the National Convention in Anaheim.
