The Orange Elks Lodge is going to miss Mr Wancowicz. I bet you didn’t know his last name. But I said Mel you will know who I am talking about. Mel is moving to Arizona.

Mel started the Veteran of Foreign War’s (VFW) Breakfast some sixteen years ago. When Louis Ochoa passed away, the name was changed to the Louis Ochoa Veterans Breakfast to honor his friend.

The breakfast first supported the Color Guard of the VFW Post 7245. Since then the donations have helped the Veterans Programs of the Orange Lodge, the American Legion, the VFW and Veterans in Orange County including the Stand Downs which are held once a year. Thanks to Janine for the pictures!
