Albert Montano, CSM (COMMAND SERGEANT MAJOR) On June 5, 2011 A Ceremony was held in honor of CSM Montano , for his Forty year of service upon Retirement from the United States Army and Army Reserve , the ceremony was that of a Change of Responsibility as the CSM of the 1394th Transportation Brigade Camp Pendleton , CA. and a ceremony to honor his Retirement of forty years of service of lasting contribution to the Nation as a Veteran Vietnam Era May 1970 to that of the war on Global on Terrorism December 2010, Severing the Army and Army Reserve as a CSM for Twenty of his Forty years. The Ceremony is one that used to recognize his wife of 38 years and his Family for support to the lasting contribution to the Nation and his civilian Employer of 33 years. CSM Montano and his family were presented certificate of Appreciation from the Commander in Chief, General United States Army Chief of Staff, Secretary of the Army, Chief Army Reserve, Command Sergeant of the Army, Command Sergeant of the Army Reserve and CSM Montano was presented with a interim award `Legion of Merit for his service Bring Great Credit Upon Himself and the United States Army.
