The Vietnam Veterans Mobile Memorial Wall is coming to Yorba Park in Orange.
The Wall will be in the park June 16th - 19th and it will be accessible 24 hours a day. There will be volunteers available to help you find names.

The Official Vietnam Veteran’s Traveling Memorial Wall Arrives in the
City of Orange!
ORANGE, CA -- The City of Orange, local non-profit organization Vision 2 Victory, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) are proud to announce that The Wall that Heals has arrived at Yorba Park in the City of Orange, CA, for a 4 day stay from Thursday, June 16 through Sunday, June 19, 2011. This is the first time The Wall That Heals has been in Orange.
The Wall that Heals has arrived in Orange, escorted from Ontario, CA to Orange on Wednesday, June 15, by more than 500 volunteer motorcyclists from the Patriot Guard Riders, American Legion Riders and Harley Owners Groups. This was the largest escort in exhibit history.
On, Saturday, June 18, at 10 a.m., the public is invited to a special commemoration ceremony that will be held at The Wall That Heals in Yorba Park.
The Wall That Heals, the only traveling replica directly affiliated with the Washington D.C. Vietnam Veterans Memorial, features a half-scale replica of The Wall in Washington D.C. Approximately 250 feet in length it is constructed from 24 powder-coated aluminum panels, each containing six columns of names, totaling 58,272 names of those killed or missing in action. Californians make up 5,576 of those names.
The traveling exhibit allows the many thousands of veterans, who have been unable to cope with the facing The Wall in Washington D.C., to find the strength and courage to do so within their own communities. The Wall That Heals also allows friends and family of fallen heroes to honor their loved ones. There is also an on-site museum.
Since its dedication in 1996, The Wall That Heals has visited more than 300 cities and towns throughout the nation, spreading the memorial's healing legacy to millions.
