So long as there are Veterans, The Orange Elks “Will Never Forget Them”! Because of the Covid-19 virus and its restrictions, the Orange Lodge is still supporting our Veterans. Our Veterans Committee donated to The Orange County Rescue Mission. Their mission is to help the men, women and children who enter the gates of the Orange County Rescue Mission come from many walks of life and are all wounded in different ways. Some are highly educated, many are survivors of abuse, addiction, and abandonment. None of these people ever imagined they’d be homeless, and they all need our help. The people who come to us could be your neighbor, your coworker or perhaps a member of your own family. Our goal is to treat each person with respect and dignity. You can visit their web page at https://www.rescuemission.org. The lodge donated $1,000 to help them and Girl Scout Troop #3634 from Santa Ana/ Tustin gave them 40 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies with a handwritten thank you card.
