Orange and the Veterans
A very busy few weeks for the Orange Elks Lodge #1475 in supporting our military. Our motto is “As long as there is a Vet, the Orange Elks will never forget”. At the lodge’s annual flag ceremony, we honored and thanked our veterans that included Orange Elks and a World War II veteran Armand Cruz. Del Mar Beach at Camp Pendleton was the scene of the annual Summer Barbeque Beach Bash for the 7th Engineer Support Battalion and their families. Twenty seven members from the Orange Lodge served lunch to over nine hundred Navy and Marine personal and their families. They are a bunch of great folks in orange shirts doing what they like to do best!
