The Orange Elks take pride in supporting our Community, our Veterans, and our Youth! Our lodge will recognize and present an award to a young boy or girl in our community for their achievement. This month the Youth Achievement Award was presented to two members of the Orange High Schools Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps Program.

Colonel Mark Tull, who runs the program told the lodge why he chose these two students. He mentioned events in their lives they overcame, how they excel in the classroom, they participate in after school athletics and are key members in the MCJROTC program.

Congratulations to Cadet Captain Sean Perez, and Cadet 1st Lieutenant Ashley Sanchez.

These two young members of our community are a fine example of rising above and reaching their goals.
