The Orange Elks support our Community, our Veterans, and our Youth!
This week we supported our Community Partner, the Orange Police Department.
The Orange Police Department (OPD ) Chief Dan Adams stopped by the lodge to accept a donation of $17,000 for the Orange Police Foundation for the purchase of a new police dog.
The lodges Police Dog Chairmen Elisabeth Carr and Mike Duff presented the check. Since 2006 the program has raised over $69,000 to help the Orange Police Department purchase and train their police dogs. This is the sixth police dog the lodge has helped OPD purchase.
The lodge raises these funds by generous donations from the members and police dog events during the year.
