The Orange Elks have had a very busy last couple of weeks. We provided an Early Bird Dinner for our members, worked a Soccer Shoot, held our annual Youth Appreciation Dinner and Awards Ceremony, celebrated our new 2022 ? 2023 officers at our Inaugural Ball and had a Mother?s Day Brunch. In 1933 the city of Orange held its first parade. It was called the May Festival Parade and lasted until 1991. In 2019, The Orange Chamber of Commerce decided to revive the parade. The new name would be the Orange May Parade. Bands, floats, equestrian units were among the entries. The parade was held in Old Towne. One of our members thought it would be a good idea to build a float and enter the Orange May Parade.
