GRIP Soccer Camp After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, The Orange GRIP Soccer Camp made a comeback during the OUSD (Orange Unified School District) spring break. This activity is aimed directly at middle school kids that are at-risk of gang involvement and drug use during a time when they have very little adult supervision. GRIP (Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership) is a program for kids between 8 and 12 years old and are pre-selected to participate in the program. Once in the program, the kids make and set goals and must show improvement to stay in the program. This soccer camp helps them! The Orange Elks served In-N- Out burgers, chips & cookies lunch one day and tacos, rice & beans and cookies the next day.. It is great to get out in the community and the kids loved the tacos. A great time was had by everyone.
The Orange Elks doing it again!!
