If it is the Monday before Christmas, members of the Orange Elks will show up at Mary’s Kitchen to prepare turkey dinners with all the “fixins” for the homeless people and those in need. This year the dinners with all the trimmings will fed over 150 people. This is the thirteenth year of the program. Sixteen members showed up on a very cold morning at 6:30 am to cook the sixteen turkeys. The early morning cooking crew.

Before cooking the turkeys the weight was checked and after the turkeys were going inside to be prepared.
