FLAG RETIREMENT CEREMONY
Each year the Orange Coast District Elks conduct a Flag Retirement Ceremony to properly dispose of old tattered and torn American Flags.
This year the Ceremony will be held Saturday, November
14, at the Santa Ana Elks Lodge at 212 Elks Lane in Santa Ana. This Ceremony is open to all Elks and their families and friends.
A Buffet Dinner for $15.00 will be available from 6 to 7:30. The Program will start at 8:00 pm.
A Special Presentation by “CELEBRATE USA” a patriotic children’s group that has performed at many venues including performing at the White House, will be featured.
Make your Reservations early at the Santa Ana Lodge (714-547-7794) as this is sure to be a very popular event.
All flags presented for disposal should be properly folded in Military fashion. They may be dropped off at any Elks Lodge before November 10, 2009.
