The Orange Elks Lodge rolled out the red carpet for the California/Hawaii Elks Association President Lance Erickson’s visit to the lodge. Lance and his corps of officers including Orange Coast Association Vice President David Seely of the Huntington Beach lodge are known as the “Shining Stars” and they plan to visit all the California/Hawaii districts. The Friday night visit included a Fish and Chips dinner prepared by its lodge members.
Lance was greeted by close to a hundred members and guests. His theme for the year is “Make Elkdom Shine”. The last two years Orange has earned an All American Lodge Award and that shows through the hard work in getting the word out on the work of the lodge in our community through its Public Relations articles that feature our lodge activities, our contributions to the Major Projects and our Veterans Service work. All of the above have helped the Orange Lodge grow in membership the last seven years.
