I'm going to be out of town, but I think I will try to get home early to attend. Looks like fun!

The Orange Emblem Club #418 was delighted to have so many Elks in attendance at their annual Victorian Tea. The winner of the Costume Contest was Esquire Cindy Cox-Osorio (far left in the photo). There were guests from local Emblem Clubs as well as new friends who read about the event in the Orange County Register. Members of Orange Emblem Club worked diligently from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. putting together a traditional menu of watercress, cucumber, egg salad and tuna salad sandwiches, as well as pumpkin soup and scones with clotted cream, strawberries with whipped cream, topped off with French macaroons. Of course everything was washed down with a variety of teas. All proceeds of the Orange Emblem Club benefit a variety of charities as well as the Orange Elks Lodge #1475. A special thanks to Emblem and Elk members who loaned the Emblem Club their precious china, linens,  and tea pots for this event.

Jan Genelle, President
Orange Emblem Club #418
