I don’t know how many of you are aware of the beautiful gift presented to your Lodge by First Lady Becky Stone. It is a beautiful, quilted likeness of an Elk, beautifully framed, and hangs outside the entry door to the third-floor club room.

Whether you know about this gift or not, if you have not taken a good, close look at it, I would highly recommend that you do. I had glanced at it many times before entering the club room, but only recently gave in to my curiosity as to whether Becky was a painter, or a needle-crafter, or whatever – so I made it a point to get up close and take a good look!.

When you see the tiny pieces of fabric sewn together precisely and perfectly to create this wonderful image of an Elk, you will be amazed. If you have not expressed your appreciation to Becky for this very special gift, may I suggest you do so at your earliest opportunity?
